4 Shows, 2 Weekly Shows left at MoTown in 2011

Only 2 more track points nights left at the Marshalltown Speedway but there is still 4 race nights left to go.  This Friday Night will wrap up the month of August and it will be Custom Concrete Night with the IMCA Modifieds competing for a top prize of $500 to win also the Iowa Micro Sprint Series returns for another visit on the quarter mile with hot laps starting at 7pm and Racing to Follow.
Next Friday Night will be the Larry Wollam Season Championship sponsored by North 3rd Ave Dairy Queen of Marshalltown with hot laps starting at 7pm and Racing to Follow. Adults $9, Seniors (65+) $7, Children 11 & Under $2, Pit Passes $20.

Meanwhile our points battles are coming down to the wire with 2 weeks left. In the O'Reilly Mod Lites, Josh May holds a 4 point lead over Mike Morrill.
Toby K's Hideaway IMCA Hobby Stocks sees the top 2 separated by just 2 points. Michael Murphy holds the top spot over Kevin Fee.
Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel IMCA Modifieds see the top 4 all within in 17 points of each other. Jon Snyder holds the top spot by 4 pts over 4 time defending track champion Jimmy Gustin. Adam Larson sits 14 points behind Snyder meanwhile Ronn Lauritzen sits 17 points behind Snyder.
Big 8 Tyre Center IMCA Sport Mods saw Scott Davis take the top spot away from Cayden Carter, Davis holds the lead over Carter by 9 points. Tyler Droste is 3rd and is  25 points behind Davis.
Mike's Hard Lemonade IMCA Stock Cars sees Trent Murphy have the lead over Tracy Gienger by 16 points. Damon Murty is 33 pts behind Murphy, Schmidt is 39 points out of the lead.

Once those 2 shows are over the race track isn't over yet as we will have the 5th Annual Havoc on the High Banks presented by Toby K's Hideaway and Arizona Racing Engines on Friday and Saturday September 23rd and 24th. JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour IMCA Modifeds will race for a top prize of $1,000 to win, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Mods are racing for $500 to win, IMCA Hobby Stocks for $300 to win and Mod Lites $250 to win.
Karl Chevrolet Dirt Trucks will join the program on Saturday for $250 to win. Gates open at 4:30p, Hot Laps at 6:30p and Racing at 7p both nights. Adults $12, Children 11 & Under $2 and Pit Pass $25.
