Des Moines, IA (May 6th, 2016) - After Mother Nature squashed last Friday's Racing action, the Iowa State Fair Speedway returned to action. The fans in attendance would get to witness an extra feature as well, as the Late Models feature from two weeks ago was on the card as well.

Todd Inman took both the Trucks and IMCA Stock Cars meanwhile Jeremy Grady (Make-up IMCA Late Models), Jeff Aikey (IMCA Late Models), Scott Davis (IMCA Modifieds), Clint Benson (IMCA RaceSaver Sprints) and Glenn Gladson Jr (IMCA SportMods).

First feature of the night was the Make-Up IMCA Late Models feature from April 22nd Races and before a lap was completed Craig Jacobs found himself up against the outside wall on the front stretch.  After the restart, Daulton Maassen grabbed the top spot but Allan Hopp took the lead away on lap seven. Jeremy Grady made a pass shortly later and went on to take the win ahead of Hopp, Jason Hahne, Richie Gustin and Randy Havlik.

Matt Moro lead the first three laps of the Karl Chevrolet Dirt Truck feature before Todd Inman worked his way through the field to take the top spot away on lap four. The only that slowed Inman from getting his third win of the season in the Trucks was a caution on lap ten for Bryan Spangler in turn two. Finishing behind Inman was Matt Moro, Anthony Moro, Lou Sipolt and Pat Gordin.

Scott Davis returned to the race track after flipping his IMCA Modified during the season opener and he took advantage by taking the lead early. The caution flag was displayed on lap five, twice but that did not slow down Davis. Davis looked to be cruising on to the win but Todd Shute, making his first appearance of the season, chased down Davis and began to battle for the lead. Shute even took the lead on lap 13 but on lap 14 coming to the white flag, lap traffic allowed Davis to take the lead back. Davis held off Shute for the win. Jesse Dennis was third, Ron Verbeek was fourth and Nick Roberts was fifth.

In the IMCA Hobby Stocks 12 lap feature event, August Bach led the first three laps before John Watson worked by on lap four. Watson looked to be heading on to ending the streak of Shannon Anderson but Anderson edged by Watson on the last set of turns to take the win. Bach, Brandon Cox and Derek Hodges round out the top five.

Todd  Fisher led the first four laps of the IMCA Stock Cars feature. Steve Hill edged out Fisher on lap five but Fisher took the lead back on lap six. Fisher saw Todd Inman sneaked by on lap 11. Inman took the win ahead of Donavon Nunnikhoven and Gary Bass, both got by Fisher for second and third. Fisher was fourth, and Hill was fifth.

Jeff Aikey led from start to finish in the IMCA Late Models regular night 18 lap feature event. Richie Gustin held off a hard charging Darrel DeFrance for second. Allan Hopp and Daulton Maassen came home in fourth and fifth respectively.

Final feature of the night was the RaceSaver Sprint Cars and it was Papillion, Nebraska's Clint Benson leading from start to finish to take the win and not even the pair of race cautions slowed him down. Austin Johnson, Eric Bridger, Mike Houseman and Ben Woods rounded out the top five.

Racing action continues next Friday Night at the Iowa State Fair Speedway with Hot Laps at 6:15pm and Racing at 6:45pm!
