Quick Wednesday Notebook from Foxman

Another week closer to the racing season so its time for another Wednesday's Notebook from Foxman updating all the things going on with race tracks.

A couple of weeks ago, we reported the Sports Park Raceway in Fort Dodge and Buena Vista Raceway in Alta are looking for a promoters, an as we are now just two months away that is still the case as no news has been released about who would be taking over.

Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, another track we mention may be open it has been announced that Doug Batz will return as Race Director & Promoter. They have also released their 2020 racing schedule on the Shelby County Speedway Facebook Page.

Dubuque County Fairboard announced on Tuesday that they will be promoting the the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway with Kelly Welter as Race Director. They will be IMCA Sanctioned, 16 races scheduled (14 weekly and 2 Fair Races) with the first race on May 10th. For information check out the Dubuque County Fair Facebook Page or DBQFair.com Website.

USMTS announced a pair of races at Stuart International Speedway on June 16th, Cedar County Raceway in Tipton on June 17th and are currently looking for a track to have a race at on June 18th before they head to Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids on June 19th and Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City on June 20th.

Currently I am still waiting on a few schedules before I post schedules later this month or early next month so If you know of a race track in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois or Wisconsin that you would like me to add to the Trackside Report Schedules along with Racing Series Schedules that I don't already post every year let me know.

This may have been short but trying to staying update with everything its hard because there is only one Foxman!
