Season Championship Night on Tap for Marshalltown

Friday Night at Marshalltown Speedway, the 2022 track point season comes to an end with the Historic North 3rd Ave Dairy Queen Larry Wollam Season Championship Night. The Closest points battle heading into Season Championship Night is the IMCA Stock Cars were only 2 points separate the top two. Other classes are at 10 or 11 points between first and second in points.

IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Mod Lites and IMCA Sport Compacts all take to the high banks of Marshalltown on Friday August 26th plus the Outlaw Mini Mods.

The top 8 in points will be locked in and will not need to run a qualifying race for those spots. 9th on back with any new cars to the track will run qualifying races to determine there starting spot in the minimum 24 car championship features

The top 8 in points will line up for their features inverted just as a weekly points race. This means the 1st place driver will start no worse that 8th in the feature, and the 8th place in points will start on the pole.

Pit gates open at 5:15, grandstands at 5:30, hot laps at 6:55 and racing starts at 7:30.

THE LARRY WOLLAM VIEW OF LIFE--

If you think you're beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch that you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost.
For out in the world we find -
Success begins with a fellow's will,
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself,
Before you can win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go,
To the strongest or fastest man.
But sooner or later the person who wins,
Is the person who thinks he can.

This saying by Larry could not be any better for season championship night as track championships will be determined on Friday night in all classes.

Zeitner Dominates SLMR and Chisholm Brothers Win in Mason City

Sunday night I decided to adventure up to the Mason City Motor Speedway for the first time this season to see all the continued renovations, as I was there last year there was no lights, they also recently added an indoor handicap accessible booth to watch the races. Todd, Janet and Ryne Staley are doing an amazing job in making racing great again in Mason City, if you have not been there in recent years the track has been shorten down from the big 1/2 mile to 1/3 mile banked clay oval, that probably runs like a 3/8 mile on the top side.

Hoker Trucking East Series SLMR Late Models made their first visit to the Mason City Motor Speedway in two years for the SLMR Shootout presented by Fertilizer Equipment Specialists. Also racing was the Summit Racing Equipment USRA Weekly Racing Series for USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners. The Outlaw Mini Mods also competed. The only weekly class not racing was the USRA Modifieds.

One hundred and twelve cars signed into tame the Mason City Motor Speedway including 27 Super Late Models. There was great racing all night long and the features saw exciting battles through out the fields. Final checkered flag flew at 9:50pm.

First feature of the night was the Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar USRA B-Mods feature event, originally scheduled for 20 laps but shorten to 18 laps. Nate Albrant out dueled Brandon Hare for the race lead but the caution came out just after the completion of lap one when Zac Mahlstedt stop in turn four. Hare got by Albrant on the restart but the caution came out again after the completion of lap two when Troy Hale in turn one. Hare continued to lead until the caution came out on lap 10 for Clayton Bohner in turn two and then on the restart when Albrant shot up the track collecting Bryer McCoy. Hare had to contend with Joe Chisholm on the restart. Chisholm took the race lead away on lap twelve and started to pull away. The caution came out one final time on lap 16. Chisholm held on to take the feature win, Hare finished second, Jett Sorensen came home third, George Nordman was fourth and Josh Appel was fifth.

Devin Jones grabbed the early lead in the Bryant Services USRA Tuners ten lap feature event. The caution came out for the only time just after lap one was scored when Max Heimbuch slowed in turn two. Oliver Monson worked his way by Jones on lap three to take the race lead. Monson led the remaining laps to take the win. Jones, Braiden Schaufenbuel and Tayla Lange rounded out the top four.

Next up was the Hoker Trucking SLMR East Series 30 lap feature event presented by Fertilizer Equipment Specialists. Jeff Aikey led the first four laps before Night's quick timer Justin Zeitner took the top spot away on lap five. Zeitner led as Tyler Bruening got by Aikey for second and the Tad Pospisil got by Aikey for third before lap 15. Zeitner managed the lap traffic just enough to fend off Bruening, Pospisil and Corey Zeitner until a caution on lap 29. The caution was for Bruening in turn four with a flat right rear tire and for Todd Cooney sitting in turn two. Justin Zeitner held on to sweep the night by taking the feature win. Pospisil finished second, Corey Zeitner was third, Aikey was fourth and Jake Neal was fifth.

Austin Hoeft led the first two laps of the Wrightz Auction Company USRA Hobby Stocks 18 lap feature before a caution came out for three cars in turn two. Chris Hovden took the top spot away briefly on lap three before Dylan Clinton took the lead over on lap four. Clinton continued to lead until Dustin Gulbrandson work his way up to battle for the lead. Gulbrandson took the top spot away on lap nine and went on to take the feature win. Clinton, Hovden, Carter Koop and Zac Smith round out the top five.

Ressler Custom Landscapes Outlaw Mini Mods 12 lap feature event was next on the speedway, Kamdyn Haggard led the first five laps. Ben Kraus, the hotshoe from Britt took the top spot away on lap six. Kraus pulled away to take the easy win. TJ Stalker came home second, Matthew Grobe was third, Haggard fell back to finish fourth and Justin Winkler was fifth.

Final feature of the night was the Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars 20 lap feature event. Before the feature got going a wild incident happen when Coy VanHauen was entering the race track he ran straight in to the last concrete barrier causing his feature to come to an end before it started. Jim Chisholm, driving the Lake Mills Motorsports No. 3 car normally driven by Kelly Shryock, out wrestled Paul Conrad for the race lead. Chisholm look smooth out front and appeared to be heading to the easy win until a caution came out on lap 13 for Joe Schmit and Calvin Lange in turn two. Chisholm held tough and went on to take the feature win ahead of Josh Zieman, Derek Green, Chanse Hollatz and Brayden Gjere.

Cap and Bow to the 2022 Season at the Warren County Speedway

Well a few times this year I have, when one Indee cancels I find my wat to the other Indy and Saturday was no different. When Justin Temeyer tried to get the Independence Motor Speedway ready, it appeared as the races was going to happen but things changed when the sun did not come out and there was no wind to help dry things out.

So with Indee forced to cancel and after very little debate the decision was to go support my friend Brandan Long, one more time in his rookie season as promoter at the Warren County Speedway. The race track produced so great racing all night long as the 2022 season came to a close.

After hot laps and a quick drivers meeting, there was something special occurring on the race track. Former racer and Track Official at the Warren County Speedway Brian Stevens arranged something with drivers coming out each with a sign, told his partner Emily Rucker to drive their tractor out on the track and face the drivers as he got down on one knee. Each driver showed their sign and when she realized and turned around, Brian was on one knee with a ring, proposing to Emily. Congrats Brian and Emily on your engagement.

First feature of the night was the DeYarman Ford JR Front Wheel Driver 12 lap feature event. Zachary Cleghorn out dueled Aubrey McKasson for the race lead. McKasson continued to put pressure on Cleghorn but could not get by and then the caution came out on lap ten when Emberli VanClark in turn three. Cleghorn held on to take the feature win despite a caution coming out as the checkered flag came out when Hailie Haynes came to a stop in turn two. Cleghorn took the win, McKasson came home in second but would claim the 2022 Track Champion. Michael Gardner, Julia Langille and Kyle Charlson round out the top five.

The caution came out before a single lap was completed in the TruBank Cruisers 12 lap feature when Josh Grubbs and Jesse Tarter got together with Jason Collins and Clay Collins exiting turn four. On the restart, husband and wife team of Chris and Shelbie Mitchell grabbed the race lead fending off the Collins / Collins car. The caution came out again after 1 lap scored when Wes Millang / John Millang car came to a stop in turn one. Mitchell / Mitchell held on to claim the feature win ahead of Collins / Collins. Millang / Millang ride finished third, Casey McKasson / Aubrey McKasson was fourth and Jared Myers / Eric Alexander was fifth.

Next feature on the speedway was Midwest Micro Series presented by Gregg Young Chevrolet, normally they go 20 laps but the amount of cautions built up forcing the feature to be reduced. Brantley Tjaden led the first lap but shortly after broke and came to a stop in turn two forcing the caution to come out. That handed the lead over to Jaden Alexander. The next caution came out on lap three when Tim Young go into the front stretch wall. Alexander held on to the race lead until a caution came out on lap six when Luke Lane rolled in turn four. Aidan Leingang stole the lead away from Alexander, Jackson Gray battled for second with Alexander until lap ten when Gray had what appeared to be loss of brakes forcing him to take action by going on the dirt hill in turn three. Leingang had to contend with Travis Rewerts as he was able to get by Alexander for second on the restart. Rewerts out raced Leingang on the final lap to take the feature win and the 2022 track championship. Leingang finished second ahead of Alexander, Hunter Hanson and Chuck Alexander rounded out the top five.

Matt Breeden led the first nine laps for the Phillips' Floor Trucks 12 lap feature before Robby Dittmer battled Breeden for the lead. Dittmer took the lead on lap ten and went on to take the feature win. Breeden finished second but claimed the 2022 track championship. Cole Becker finished third, Travis Shivers was fourth and Cole Edgington was fifth.

Brock Bush led from start to finish in the 12 lap Bussanmas Heating & Cooling Stock Figure 8 feature event but was Chris Mitchell put pressure the entire distance as things started to get hairy in the figure 8. Bush claimed the win with Mithcell finishing second. Will Aldridge came home third but was the 2022 track champion. Joe Grubbs and Seth Parker was fourth and fifth respectively.

There was only two Williams Machine Shop Open Figure 8 cars signed in to compete so to put on a show some of the Phillips' Floor Trucks came back out to compete with David Burnell and Jesse Tarter. However instead of running the eight, they ran the oval. Burnell claim the race lead and never looked back despite a caution on lap one when Robby Dittmer flipped in turn one. Burnell already how the track championship locked up claimed the feature win. Tarter came across in fourth on the track but finished second. Trucks of Breeden and Becker finished in between Burnell and Tarter.

David Castellano put a bow on his 2022 track championship in the Hawkeye Auto Salvage Hobby Stocks by leading all 12 laps in the feature event. John Alexander grabbed second on lap four and tried to reel in Castellano but came up short. BJ Charlson was third, Leonard Loftus was fourth and Jason Collins was fifth.

Final regular feature of the night was the 12 lap Front Wheel Drive feature event but before a lap was completed the caution came out when Josh Haynes came to a stop in turn two. Autumn Turner jumped on to the race lead on the restart and hit her marks every lap. The caution came out again on lap ten when John Millang in turn three and four. Turner held off heavy pressure from Michael Gardner and Casey Tucker on the restart but Turner went on to take claim the feature win. Gardner, Tucker, Alex VanClark and B-feature winner Braelynn Long rounded out the top five. Tucker took the 2022 track championship.

After the regular nights feature events was completed, their was mechanic races however I did not get the names for who won each of the mechanic races.

That puts a bow on the 2022 Racing Season at the Warren County Speedway, the inaugural season for Brandan Long as promoter. I was their three times this season and enjoyed every time I was there. Thanks to Brandan for letting me come down and also thanks to Joshua Bowlin for allowing me to hang out on the dirt hill the last couple of races to take pictures.

Keep your eyes during the off season for the 2023 racing schedule and plan to attend the Warren County Speedway presented by TruBank in Indianola next year.

Berry Takes Victory at the Bald Tire Bash in Vinton

This season I chose not to attend many Sunday night races except for the ones I worked at the Brooklyn Raceway, well that changed as I decided I would head to the Benton County Speedway "The Bullring" for the reschedule Bald Tire Bash with Team 3W Racing and our hired driver Tom Berry Jr. So we loaded up and headed to Vinton. The Crew consisted of myself, Tyler Wollam, Josh Capalla, Mike Duffy, Kyle Kirk, Rock Bolen, Mike Block, Emily Block, Aspyn Block, Ben Wollam, Tom Berry Jr, Greg Godfrey and his crew chief Austin.

For the Team 3W Racing team, it was interesting night as Tom Berry started on the pole for the heat race but fell back to finish second to Buck Schafroth. After Tom got back to the pits it was determined that Tom finished the heat on seven cylinders because one of the rocker arms broke so that meant the team had to scramble to find a new rocker arm for the feature. A lot of work went into it finding one, Josh got in contact with Chris Pippert in Belle Plaine and he had just what we needed so he got met Josh and Mike Block half way, Pippert is one of Josh's customers on his UPS route. As for the rest of the story find out how it ended. Thanks again it was fun and thank you Mike Block for letting me ride with you over to Vinton.

It was also my first trip to Vinton since I worked turns one and two back in 2019, so it was three years but I was excited to make the trip over to see all the changes made over the years by Rick and Corey Dripps. It was Racing for Autism Night and the Bald Tire Bash presented by Midwest Injection Inc., Fox Welding, VanEaton Pork, Murty Racing, Johnny Spaw Race Cars & Performance Bodies for the IMCA Stock Cars. The IMCA Sport Compacts also had their Special night.

A total of one hundred-forty cars checked into tame the quarter mile bullring plus the kids got involved with Power Wheel Races before the races and at Intermission.

First feature of the night was the INEX Legends 15 lap feature event presented by Legends Direct. Michael Weber grabbed the race lead early but just after the completion of lap one, the only race caution came out. Weber led until Parker Jones took the top spot away on lap eight. Neither Jones or Weber took the win as Jordan Miklas worked his way into second and then made a last lap pass on Jones to claim the win. Jones came home in a close second, Weber was third, Dave Eberle in fourth and Robby Morrison in fifth.

Super Sunday IMCA Sport Compacts 15 lap special event was up next on the speedway. Blake Driscol led the first lap but shortly after Nathan Chandler made contact with Driscol forcing the caution to come out. Lukas Rick grabbed the race lead on the restart and never looked back going on to take the feature win. Behind him their was great two and three wide behind him. Mitchell Bielenberg, Tyler Fiebelkorn, Steven Schmitz and Spencer Roggentien rounded out the top five.

Mallett Meyer jumped out to the early lead of the A.I.R.S. - American Iron Racing Series 15 lap feature but a caution came out on lap five when Jeff Hollenbeck spun. Meyer continued to lead through the next caution on lap eight for Jimmy Rogers in turn four. Two laps later, Meyer had his race come to an end as he came to a stop in turn four. Doug Yates took the race lead over and went on to take the feature win in 1969 Ford Torino. Bart Miller finished second in a 1962 Galaxie XL, Brian Gade came home third in a 1958 Ford Fairlane. RJ Lank, driving a 1959 Edsel Ranger was fourth and Travis Heier in a 1975 Ford Maverick was fifth.

After the initial start was called back in the IMCA Sport Mods presented by Christie Door Company, Kyle Olson quickly worked the top side of the speedway and was in a four wide battled for the top spot. Olson came out as the race leader and continued to use the top side by pulling away. Late race lap traffic allowed Dylan VanWyk to close in but Olson managed the lap traffic just enough to go to take his second win of the season in Vinton. VanWyk, Tony Olson, Brady Hilmer and points leader Ben Chapman rounded out the top five.

KISS Country 96.5 IMCA Modifieds 20 lap feature had its initial start called back but when the race got rolling it was Drew Janssen grabbing the race lead. Janssen dominated until rear end problems sidelined him to the pits. Cody Laney, Jeff Aikey and Dallon Murty was not battling the race lead. Laney took command and went on to claim the victory and cashing in a $1,000 payday. Aikey was second, Murty was third, Jerry Dedrick was fourth and JD Auringer was fifth.

Before a single lap was scored in the IMCA Hobby Stocks 15 lap feature event, the caution came out when Logan Takes and Ava Parizek got together in turn two, Takes again on the restart in turn four. Bradly Graham started outside the front row jumped out front right away and started to pull away. The next caution came out on lap six for Zeke Wheeler in turn two. Graham refused to let that caution or the caution lap ten for Joren Fisher in turn two to bother him. Graham took the feature win ahead of Matt Brown, Benji Irvine, Brett Vanous and Michael Kimm.

Final feature of the night was the 25 lap Bald Tire Bash for the Vermedahl Logistics IMCA Stock Cars. The caution came out before a lap scored when Ian Huff and Russell Damme Jr spun in turn two. Leah Wroten took the top spot early and started to get a little separation until caution came out on lap three when Dustin Griffiths spun in turn four. Wroten held on to the race lead until Dallon Murty took the top spot way on lap seven. Murty was followed by Tom Berry Jr and Kaden Reynolds and then a caution came out on lap 13 when Wroten spun in turn three. Murty held off Berry, Reynolds and Buck Schafroth on the restart but the caution came out again on lap 16. First caution on lap 16 for Russell Damme Jr in turn three and then on the restart for Ian Huff in turn one.

Murty still continued to lead until the lap 19 caution for Griffiths in turn three. On this restart, Tom Berry Jr was able to get by Murty and fend off Reynolds at the same time to take the race lead coming to complete lap 20. Berry and the field saw the caution come out one more time on lap 22 for debris in turn four, this caution brought a single file restart. Berry used that too his advantage and held off a late race slider from Reynolds to take the feature win worth $2,000 and qualify for the B&B Chassis All-Star Invitational for Stock Cars. Reynolds finished second, Murty came home third, Schafroth was fourth and Johnathon Logue came home in fifth.

Johnson Wins Sunoco Bonus and Suckow Ends Olson Streak in Indee

Independence, Iowa (August 13th, 2022) - Saturday Night was a cool summer night but the racing action was heated and exciting all night long on the 3/8 mile Independence Motor Speedway. Dunlap Motors IMCA Late Models competed for the Sunoco Race Fuel $250 bonus and the question going in could anybody stop Tony Olson's streak in the IMCA Sport Mods.

Ninety-eight cars checked in for the next to last race night of the 2022 season. After the heat races, track prep crew went to work to make turns three and four more racy for the features and that turned out to be a fantastic idea as the features were exciting from start to finish. Final checkered flag waived at 9:41pm.

First feature of the night was the 15 lap Burco Sales IMCA Sport Mods feature, the initial start to the race was called back. Robert Patava grab the lead on lap one ahead of Cole Suckow and Josh Fisher but shortly after the caution came out. The caution was for Vern Jackson sitting in turn two after getting spun by Rayce Mullen. Suckow took the race lead on the restart, Tony Olson followed into second after getting by Fisher and Patava. Suckow pulled away only to have Olson get back within a few car lengths. Olson was unable to take the lead away from Suckow allowing Suckow to go on and take his first win of the season to become the third different feature winner in Indee. Olson had his streak end at seven wins in a row, which was the all-time winning streak in Indee, with a runner-up finish. Kip Siems came home in third, Jackson worked his way back to finished fourth and Will Wolf finished fifth.

Just like the previous feature, the Albert Auto IMCA Hobby Stocks 15 lap feature had the initial start called back. On the following restart, the caution came out again when Tyler Ollendieck was spun on the backstretch by Kyler Hefty. Randy LaMar jumped out to the race lead on the third attempt to start the race fending off Shawn Kuennen. Billy Rhoades was able to capitalize when LaMar slipped up on lap four. The caution came out on lap five when Justin Hanson went off the top side of turn two. Rhoades was determined to not let that faze him as he fended off LaMar and Brett Vanous on the restart, Rhoades appeared to be heading on to the the feature win until one more caution on lap 12 forcing a three lap dash. Rhoades held LaMar, Vanous and Kuennen off to go on and take his second win of the season in Indee. LaMar, Vanous, Kuennen and Jordan Miles rounded out the top five.

Jon Passick looked strong in the Dunlap Motors IMCA Late Models 20 lap feature by jumping out to the race lead and pulling away. Track Points Leader Sean Johnson worked his way through the field and into second on lap eight with Dalton Simonsen right behind them. Johnson and Simonsen reeled in Passick as lap traffic started to encounter your leaders but Passick was able to manage them and hang on to the race until two late race cautions. The first caution on lap 15 for Leah Wroten spinning in turn four. Johnson was able to get by Passick for the race lead on the restart and started to get a little separation, only to see the caution come out again on lap 18 when Jerod Ballhagen spun in turn two. Johnson held on to take the feature win on his daughter's birthday weekend, his fifth win of the season and captured the Sunoco Race Fuels $250 bonus. The win also clinched the track championship in the Late Models. Simonsen came home second, Passick took third, Colton Leal was fourth and Austin Russell was fifth.

Dominator Chassis IMCA Stock Cars 15 lap feature was next on the speedway, Philip Holtz wrestled the early race lead fended off Jason Hocken. Holtz started to pull away meanwhile Kevin Rose, Chris Luloff and Kaden Reynolds got by Hocken went three wide for second on lap two. Holtz continued to lead until the only caution came out on lap eight for Russell Damme Jr in turn four. Reynolds and Holtz battled for the race lead as Cole Mather and Leah Wroten battled for third on lap nine and ten. Reynolds led lap nine, Holtz regained the lead on lap ten but Reynolds refused to go away wrestling it back on lap 11. Mather worked his way into third and then got by Holtz for second on lap 11 and started to challenge Reynolds for the lead. Reynolds hung on to take his fourth win of the season.  Mather, Holtz, Wroten and Luloff round out the top five.

Spencer Roggentien led the first four laps of the Waterloo Auto Parts Compacts 12 lap feature event working the bottom side of the speedway. Korey Lana was able to use the top side to grab the top spot away on lap five when Roggentien slipped up. Roggentien was able to capitalize on Lana making the same mistake to regain the lead briefly on lap six. Lana grabbed the lead back on lap seven and pulled away to take his third win of the season. Blake Driscol was able to grab second, Roggentien fell back to third, Matt Miller was fourth and Jaice Tuttle was fifth.

Josh Barta and Rod McDonald battled for the race lead early even making contact on lap one, Barta led the first lap at the line. McDonald grabbed the race lead on lap two, before caution came out on lap two for Jerry King on the front stretch. McDonald got a great restart and fended off Barta on the restart and pulled away appearing to heading on to the feature win. A caution came out on lap fifteen when Russ Hesse spun on the front stretch. McDonald had to contend with Brennen Chipp, who worked his to second and Barta on the restart. McDonald held them off until just after completed lap 16, when Chipp made contact with McDonald sending him spinning in turn two. That resulted in the caution coming out, McDonald sent to the tail for the caution and Chipp penalized for questionable driving. This resulted in no leader forcing a restart with nobody out front, that allowed Barta to regain the lead. Barta held on to take the feature win, his first win since June 10th, 2017. Troy Cordes, who had an early flat tire worked his back through to finish second. Jerry Dedrick, Dustin Kroening and Jason Morehouse came home third through fifth respectively.

It may have been my birthday but that did not mean I was going to avoid a night at the races in fact in my opinion there was no better way to spent my birthday was at the races. The racing surface produced exciting racing all night long with drivers all over.

One hundred-sixteen cars signed in to tame the high banked quarter mile on BHE Night at the Races including 27 Big 8 Tyre Center IMCA Sport Mods for a $1,000 prize. Final checkered flag was displayed at 10:30pm.

First feature of the night was the IMCA STARS Mod Lites 15 lap feature event. Ben George led the first lap before Randy Bryan took the top spot away on lap two. Bryan led until Jason Masengarb grabbed the top spot away in lap seven. Masengarb led the rest of the way to claim the victory. Bryan, Jacob Copley, Josh May and Joel Huggins round out the top five.

Tony Olson jumped out to the early lead in the Big 8 Tyre Center IMCA Sport Mods 20 lap feature event fending off Kyle Olson and Kaylin Lopez. The caution came out on lap two when Curt Smeins slowed in turn four. Tony Olson was not letting that faze him as he got a great restart and pulled away only to see the caution come out on lap nine when Curtis VanDerWal spun in turn two with help from Logan Anderson. A red flag came out on lap ten when Taylor Kuehl rolled off the top of turn one after assistance from Anderson. Tony Olson fended off Kyle Olson and Lopez again on the restart but the caution came out again on lap 15 when Sam Wieben stopped off turn two. Tony Olson was determined to not be denied as he went on to take the feature win. Kyle Olson finished second, Brayton Carter finished third, Jenae Gustin was fourth and Lopez fell back to fifth.

IMCA Sport Compacts 15 lap feature event was next on to the speedway. John Schuring led the opening lap before Colby Sabin took the top spot away on lap two. Sabin how slipped of the top side of turn three on lap three, that gave the lead over to Tyler Fiebelkorn. Fiebelkorn led until lap eight when Sabin, had worked his way back through the field. Sabin went on to take the feature win ahead of John Gill, Fiebelkorn, Travis Hatch and David Kimmel.

Kaden Reynolds led the first two laps for the Drury Automotive & Truck Repair IMCA Stock Cars 20 lap feature event before a caution came out. The caution was for Troy Tabor and Kylie Rawlins in turn two. Dallon Murty was able to steal the lead away from Reynolds on the restart. Tabor spun on lap twelve in turn four. Murty held on to take the feature win. Austin Kaplan got by Reynolds to take second, Reynolds was third. Taylor Kuehl in fourth and Steve Meyer in fifth.

Up next was the Tire Demon by Love Tap IMCA Modifieds 20 lap feature. Garrett Wilson grabbed the lead and fended off Cody Laney several times. Wilson looked to be going on to take the feature win but a caution came out on lap fifteen when Andrew Kinser spun in turn three. Laney got a great restart and took over the race lead. Laney took the feature win ahead of Wilson, Tim Ward, Jake McBirnie and Dallon Murty.

Final feature of the night was the IMCA Hobby Stocks 20 lap feature event. Austin Mehmen led from start to finish with the 3 race cautions the only thing slowing him down.
