Mother Nature Takes Season Opener at the Southern Iowa Speedway

Oskaloosa, Iowa (April 19th, 2017) - Just like many other Iowa race tracks here in the month of April, the Southern Iowa Speedway fell victim to mother nature as the KBOE Radio / Mahaska Bottling Season Opener has rained out.
Early morning rain made the ground extremely wet and with the potential chance for more rain tonight, track officials was forced to make the cancellation.

Next Wednesday will now be the Stephen Dell Corporation Season Opener for (Musco Lighting) IMCA Modifieds, (Budweiser) IMCA Stock Cars, (Oskaloosa True Value) IMCA SportMods, (KBOE / Mahaska Bottling) IMCA Hobby Stocks and (Kelli Steil State Farm) IMCA Sport Compacts. Also racing will be the Karl Chevrolet DTRA Dirt Trucks. Hot Laps at 7pm and Racing at 7:30pm.
