IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Mod Lites join the fun.

One Hundred Thirty One cars and trucks signed in to tame the high banked 1/4 mile with the IMCA Sport Mods had the most cars with 29. Outlaw Mini Mods had 23 cars strong. The where going two, three and four wide throughout the night. Not even a few sprinkles dampened the fun on Friday Night. The last checkered flag came at 10:55pm as the lighting to the south became intense.

Ben Kraus won his second Outlaw Mini Mods race this week. Brayton Carter, Kaden Reynolds and Dallon Murty all repeat winners in Motown. Dennis Plain became the fourth different winner in the Trucks. Dillon Raffuty was the seventh different winner in the Mod Lites and Ethan Dotson was a first time winner this season in Motown.

First feature of the night was the 15 lap Bat Wing Chassis Outlaw Mini Mods presented by Drury Automotive & Truck Repair feature event. Lucas Daniels led the opening lap however just after that lap scored, Justin Besch lost a tire in turn four and came to a stop on the front stretch just as Daniels spun in turn two. Ben Kraus inherited the lead on the restart and fend off challenges from Minnesota's Kelly Steele and Bobby Ruehlow on the restart. Kraus pulled away to take his second win of the Outlaw Mini Mods Summer Nationals Swing, also won on Wednesday in Stuart. Logan Brown, owner of the Outlaw Mini Mods Series finished in the runner-up spot after moving up eight spots. Ruehlow, Steele and Minnesota's Tyler Johnson rounded out the top five.

Karl Chevrolet Dirt Trucks making their second appearance of the season was up next for their 12 lap feature event. Dennis Plain and Bill Davis Jr battled it out early. Plain led the opening lap before Davis took the lead away on lap two and three. Plain refused to go away taking the top spot back on lap four when Davis slipped up. Plain pulled away until a few laps to go when Rick Clark reeled him back in and tried to challenge for the race lead. Plain held on to become the fourth different winner in the Truck Series this season in five races. Clark, Bryan Spangler, Jeff Johnson and Shonn Mapes rounded out the top five.

Before a lap scored in the books of the 15 lap IMCA Mod Lites feature event, the caution came out when David Raffurty, Austin Gray, Mike Agan and Douglas Byers spun exiting turn four. Dillon Raffuty grabbed the race lead early despite challenges from Kaden Cochrun. The caution came out again on lap four when Michael Raffurty stopped in turn two. Dillon Raffurty fended off Kaden Cochrun and David Raffurty on the restart. Dillon Raffurty went on to become the seventh different Mod Lites winner in Motown this season despite a hard charging Josh May chasing him down. May finished second, Cochrun was third, Garrett Stonum was fourth and Cory Sonner was fifth.

Kaylin Lopez took the early lead of the 18 lap IMCA Sport Mods feature event but just after lap one scored the caution came out when Brian Schrage and Tony Olson got together in turn two. Lopez fended of Kenny Wyman on the restart. Brayton Carter worked his way by Wyman on lap two and pressured Lopez for the race lead. Carter took the race lead just before the caution came out again on lap four when Jessiah Taylor spun in turn two. Carter held off Lopez and Austin Schrage on the restart and pulled away until the next caution on lap eight when Tyler Titus spun on the front stretch and Andrew Sneller went off the top side of turn three. This time Carter had to fend off Johnathon Logue and Austin Schrage on the restart, he did and once again got a little separation. The caution came out one more time on lap 12 but that did not faze Carter. Carter went on take his third win of the season in Motown. Logue finished second, Thomas Egenberger used the top side of the speedway to finish third, Jenae Gustin moved up six spots to finish fourth and Austin Schrage was fifth.

In the IMCA Hobby Stocks 15 lap feature event, they went three and four wide on the first lap that allowed Jeremiah Andrews to take the early race lead. Andrew fended off Dan Brady and Solomon Bennett early. Andrews led until lap five when points leader Kaden Reynolds, started eleventh, took over the top spot. Reynolds pulled away and never looked back going on to take his sixth win of the season in Motown. Eric Knutson moved up seven spots to finish second. Braden Richards, Andrews and Bennett finished third through fifth.

Kyle Everts wrestled the early race lead from fellow front row starter Austin Kaplan in the 20 lap IMCA Stock Cars feature. Jared Daggett tried to challenge Everts but failed, the caution came out shortly after lap two scored when Ian Huff spun in turn two. Everts hung on to the race lead until Dallon Murty took over the top spot on lap six. Dallon Murty started to pull away meanwhile Kaplan ran second until a caution came out on lap 11 for debris in turn one. Dallon Murty went on to take his third win of the season, first track points night win in Motown. Father Damon Murty got by Kaplan for second on lap 15. Tyler Pickett also got by Kaplan for third. Kaplan fell back to fourth and David Atcher was fifth.

Final feature of the night was the IMCA Modifieds 20 lap feature event. Anthony Hofbauer led the first 17 laps despite early challenges from Chase Rudolf, Jared Van Deest and Ethan Dotson. Hofbauer pulled away and seemed to heading to take the feature win until the caution came out on lap 17 when Gatlin Leytham spun in turn one. Dotson took the lead away from Hofbauer on the restart but the caution came out again on lap 19 when Dylan Thornton and Garrett Wilson spun in turn four. That forced a green-white-checkered restart, Dotson hung on to take the feature win. Jake McBirnie beat Van Deest for second by .076 seconds.
