Night Two of Budweiser and Musco Lighting Stock Car Shootout Postponed

Oskaloosa, Iowa (July 6th, 2016)
- Over Night rain left the ground to wet to race night two of the
Budweiser and Musco Lighting Stock Car Shootout at Southern Iowa
Speedway so the second night is postponed until Wednesday July 20th.
There will be a buy in for new Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks and
Sport Compacts on that Night. Hawkeye Dirt Tour for IMCA Modifieds will
also be on the card.
Bill and Rays will sponsor any new driver
on July 20th that did not race Tuesday Night and pay their pit pass in
Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts. So if you were
not there on Tuesday night, come join the fun during the Southern Iowa
Fair.
Top eight from Points on Tuesday Night are locked in and
will run a dash during the fair. Meanwhile any car that ran Tuesday
night plus new cars will race heats and b-features to qualify for the
main event. Plus the Top 20 from Osky feature and Lee County Speedway
Stock feature will run a $1,000 to win winner-take-all event.
The
Stock Car Shootout , night two will now take place at the Lee County
Speedway on Thursday with a complete show for the Stock Cars. Also Racing is the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Sport
Compacts, Lee County Late Models and 305 Sprints also on the card. Hot
Laps at 7pm, Racing at 7:30pm.
No racing next week at the
Southern Iowa Speedway as the speedway prepares for the Southern Iowa
Fair coming up July 18th through 24th. Tuesday July 19th, The USMTS
Modifieds along with the IronMan Challenge Series for USRA Stock Cars
and USRA B-Mods compete. Then on Wednesday July 20th, the Hawkeye Dirt
Tour for IMCA Modifieds take to the half mile along with the second
night of the Budweiser and Musco Lighting IMCA Stock Car Shootout for
Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts. Hot Laps at 7pm
and Racing at 7:30pm both nights.
