After a little help from mother nature this week the Karl Auto Group of Marshalltown Speedway saw some fantastic racing all night along on Friday night. The night featured $500 to win Big 8 Tyre Center IMCA Sport Mods and the IMCA STARS Mod Lite Corn Belt Clash. It also saw the first appearance of the Karl Chevrolet Dirt Trucks.

Toby Kruse, Jerry Vansickel and Dave Wolf did a great job getting the racing surface prepared and ready for seven classes of competition. First heat race went green at 7:30pm and the final checkered flag was displayed at 10:52pm.
