Marshalltown, Iowa (May 5th, 2022) - The Haulin' with Hoker Trucking East Series for the Super Late Model Racing Series is having a tough luck to getting the season started as all three of this week's scheduled series races have fallen victim to mother nature leaving the grounds wet at the Karl Auto Group of Marshalltown Speedway (5th Annual Dale DeFrance Memorial), Sports Park Raceway in Fort Dodge and Independence Motor Speedway.
The Super Late Model Racing Series has only gotten one Malvern Bank West Series race at their home track of I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on April 2nd. With the loss of this week's East Series, there has been a total of seven races have fallen this season, 5 of those on East Series and 2 of those on the West Series.
Last week's West Series Races at Adams County Speedway in Corning and Karl Chevrolet of Stuart International Speedway have been rescheduled. Stuart's race has been rescheduled for Sunday May 22nd and Adams County rescheduled for Saturday June 18th.
East Series Races that were cancelled rescheduled are Mason City Motor Speedway to August 21st. Marshalltown's Dale DeFrance Memorial ($4,400 to win / Possible $5,300 to win) rescheduled to Thursday July 7th, and will now be part of a two night swing with the Independence Motor Speedway Denny Osborn Memorial ($7,200 to win) on Wednesday July 6th.
Sports Park Raceway East Series Race has been rescheduled for Friday July 29th in conjunction with the Malvern Bank West Series for $5,000 to win. May 7th Independence Race will not be rescheduled and no rescheduled date for Hamilton County Speedway April 23rd Race has been announced.
As of Thursday, The Sports Park Raceway still plans to have race the USRA Weekly Racing Series Season Opener on Friday May 6th. USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners. Hot Laps at 7:30p, Racing to Follow
Independence Motor Speedway is also still on for Saturday May 7th with the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing Series Season Opener for Dunlap Motors IMCA Late Models, Performance Bodies IMCA Modifieds, Dominator Chassis IMCA Stock Cars, Burco Sales IMCA Sport Mods, Albert Auto Service IMCA Hobby Stocks, Waterloo Auto Parts Indee Cars and Waterloo Auto Parts Sport Compacts. Pits Open at 3:30p, Grandstands Open at 4:30p, Hot Laps at 5:45p, Racing to Follow.
