Paul Hahn and Parker Kilgerman win the Iowa Motor Truck Association 50 and The Prairie Meadows 200

Well i enjoyed getting up doing some house stuff before we headed to the Iowa Speedway. The Parking Lots opened up at 11 am, spectator gates open at 1 pm then the trucks ran their final practice session.
At 2 pm, Country Music Superstar Eric Church hit the Grinnell Mutual Stage for a pre-race concert, the concert wrapped up at 3:15pm with Pole Qualifying for the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series where point leader Paul Hahn was the quickest, he then rolled the dice to see how they would line up due to an invert his dad rolled a 6 so Hahn after declining to go to the back to start 6th in the feature.
Then at 4 pm it was time for the ARCA Re-max Series to Qualify to set the field for the Prairie Meadows 200 and the quick time went to Joey Coulter with a time of 23.450 seconds or 134.328 mph.
At 5:45 pm it was time for the pre-race driver intros for the Iowa Motor Truck Association 50 lap race. The Race took to the track at 6pm. Steve Arpin would lead lap 1 but would lose the lead on lap 2 to his team mate The Phantom. The Phantom would hold the top spot until lap 23 when he was pass by the quick timer in qualifying and Truck Series Point Leader Paul Hahn on lap 24. The only caution would come out on lap 29 when Nathan Trekowski blew up. Hahn would take the win in the ITA 50, Nick Gullatta would come home in 2nd, Rob Jones in 3rd, Shawn Szep in 4th and Ash Hawkins was 5th. Iowa Native and Racing Veteran Carl Moyer was 6th.
At 7:30 pm it was the Pre-race driver intros for the Prairie Meadows 200 for the ARCA Re-Max Series. The Races hit the track at 8pm.
Pole Sitter Joey Coulter would take the lead and lead the first 35 laps. The first race caution came out on lap 33 when James Buescher makes contact with the wall in turn 4. Coulter would make a pit stop thus handing the lead over to Tom Hessert. Hessert would hold the top spot until the next caution which came out on lap 51 when Johanna Long and Chase Mattioli make contact in turn 4. Hessert would pit handing the lead over to Parker Kilgerman. Kilgerman would have to dodge through lap traffic and he would maintain the lead through the next 2 cautions before making a pit stop. Lap 82 would see Buescher make hard contact with the turn 1 and 2 wall and then on lap 134 when Hessert make contact with the wall in turn 1. Kilgerman would come in handing the lead over to Coulter. Kilgerman would battle through the field to get back to the front but another caution would come out on lap 145 when Patrick Sheltra and Todd Hansen spin on the front stretch. Kilgerman would make the pass for the lead on Coulter on lap 148 and start to check out until the final race caution coming out on lap 183 when Sheltra made contact with the wall in turn 3 and 4. Kilgerman would go on to the win, Austin Dillon would come home in 2nd, Coulter was 3rd, Chris Buescher was 4th and Brian Ecklor was 5th.
