Marshalltown Speedway Stats Through the Month of June!

This year at Marshalltown Speedway it was a return of me in the announcer's stand along with veteran race track announcer Jerry Vansickel for a 2nd year in a row and a return of me writing the story for speedway every night after the races and i want to thank Toby for bring me back. Just like did last year i am going to bring you some mid-season weekly stats for the Marshalltown Speedway.

In 2012, the speedway added a new division to the speedway with the additon of the IMCA Sport Compacts. The numbers haven't been too high but every week the racing is getting more excting and harder for the stats man (me) to keep up but anyways its time to move on to the stats.

This season at Marshalltown there has been 179 different drivers signed in to do battle at the speedway not including the frostbuster with 20 different Mod Lites, 39 Hobby Stocks, 29 Modifieds, 12 Sport Compacts, 46 SportMods and 33 Stock Cars.

Thats the end of the stats for Marshalltown and going into the season i heard from people with 6 classes racing weekly in 2012 the shows will go longer will on average we are getting finished around 10 pm and that is on par with last year meaning we are done in 2.5 hours not bad for a Friday Night track. The track has been fast night in and night out and see it being no different the rest of the year.

Until Next Time,
